NB-IoT Torque Wrench

The digital turn.

A tool that finds the right fit for any type of screw.

Reading time: 3 minutes

Making a point of force.

Screw loose or too tight? Inaccuracies in torque tightening can have enormous consequences. In the blink of an eye, they quickly cost a lot of time and material.

But there is a solution: the NB-IoT torque wrench transmits all measurement data in real time at the workplace, and releases with pinpoint accuracy when the perfect torque is reached. In addition, all tightening processes are reliably documented and can be tracked with just a few clicks.

Complete documentation

The NB-IoT Relay Service (NRS) torque wrench automatically and seamlessly records all bolting operations.

Precision meets quality

With stable data transmission, the tightening torque can be tracked live at the workplace.

Simple operation

The simple and handy application ensures an effortless and clear assembly process.

Reliably robust

Thanks to the built-in NB-IoT Relay Service (NRS), the torque wrench has a long transmission range and long battery life.

At a glance

  • Live data transmission of the tightening torque
  • Control and assurance of the correct individual tightening torque
  • Traceability through documentation of all tightening processes
  • High range and long battery life thanks to NB-IoT
  • Connection to any cloud or proprietary backend via WIS NB-IoT Relay Service (NRS)
  • Time, material & cost savings due to high precision and bolting quality

Screwing will be good, control even better.

The torque wrench ensures safe assembly of all screws with its NB-IoT function by capturing all measurement data about the operations in real time.

Our futuristic tool transmits data via Bluetooth to a local workstation, where it is visualized as a curve in real time. The torque wrench releases when the torque is reached and saves all processes.

The number of bolting operations is transmitted via NB-IoT to the customer backend, which connects to a third-party platform or proprietary manufacturing execution system (MES) via a generic interface (REST API).
